Have you ever heard people joke about how a pretty girl is a demon disguise? What if that was a little more literal than you realized?
This is a concept I've had in the back of my mind for a while now. I was actually working on a mask sculpt of it when I heard about this contest. That sculpt has since been destroyed, since I have something more important I need to work on, and I only have one headcast. But I'll get back to it at some point.
Horns are custom. Sculpted and molded them last week. Then I whipped out a bald cap last night. Everything else is flat makeup. Actual application today took somewhere around 2 and a half hours. And airbrushing your own face is interesting. Those actors at Reign are Terror aren't joking when they tell me the paint is REALLY cold. I think I'll be a little more empathetic now.
Cool makeup! We are running a small competition for 'Movie Monster Makeup' and wondered if you would like to take part? We are an independent company based in Scotland and are looking for people to take part in order to get interest in our mobile app which showcases independent horror films.
The winner would receive a custom designed glossy poster of their design, plus all the profits made from selling it through our webstore. You can email this picture (or any other makeup that fits the theme) to comp@popcornhorror.com.

How did you attach the horns to the cap?
