Got bored, decided to play with silicone.

EDIT- Yeah, I know, angle's wrong. ;P Didn't have a clear idea in mind what kind of wound I wanted when I started, so I didn't think it through properly.

I love creating fake woulds with silicone and latex creams that dry and peel to simulate skin, fake blood and stage makeup for th flesh and what-not <3

I did it with elmers glue once, not as effective.

enough blabbing, I like it!

this is really cool. the only problem is that the angle of the bite is unrealistic since there is no way a dog can get its mouth in that position to leave such a mark. it would almsot have to be 45-90 degrees in either direction. other than that its good for just playing with silicone. :)

Looks pretty real! Except I can't really imagine how a dog could legitimately bite you like that, since as the angle is it kinda implies it bit from the direction of up your arm, meaning it's head would've had to be in your arm to get that angle rather than from the side, or diagonal perhaps. If you can explain how t would work in that direction, I would love to hear! Aside from that very nice. From preview image I thought it was possible it was real.

Looks kinda similar to the way it looked when I got bit in the face by a dog, except my cheek skin was hanging down & there was a small bite mark underneath, too. I'm not sure that a dog would be able to bite like this on an arm though, since it's smaller, round surface....but it really looks cool. You made it have sort of an infected appearance. I like it.

Oh this brings back horrible memories. I was bitten by a dog on my leg when I was 11... Looked similar to that really. But they did not put stitches in wounds caused from animal bites usually. They want to let the wound drain........

Looks legit. Props.

I have a real one courtesy of my late uncle's late Rottweiler. The scar looks pretty much exactly like this, just flip the deeper cuts to the thicker part of the arm and that's a pretty fair representation.

Very good indeed, although I imagine that a real injury would likely be angled 90 degrees left or right as dogs tend to grab the arm from that angle for better purchase.

He could have bitten at a 45 degree angle, but the white spot on the top (and a similar at the boton) should have being a hole because of the fangs.

Looks nothing like a dog bite.

Dogs have sharp canines that would pierce the skin much differently than this.

What you've done looks more like flat teeth shredding the skin instead of puncture wounds unless the skin and underlying muscle was torn severely.

That would be absolutely perfect and convincing-if not for the orientation of the bite.
I'd love to see a dog/kangaroo/alligator that would ignore and swallow most of your hand and wrist/feet and ankle only to chomp you down there.

it looks really good, but what part of the body is it on?

dogs would bite the other direction on a limb most times ..a bite at that angle would not look like that, due to how the jaw opens and the teeth are.

but despite that it does look really amazing!
